My Puppies

It has been a quiet night.  I went to my favorite bar/restaurant had a wonderful meal and traveled back to my little home to two wild puppies that wanted out.  I enjoy their enthusiasm and I am a little jealous of it.  It needs to be a goal for me that when the front door opens I will run out with great enthusiasm.  That would definitely freak out the neighbors.  I enjoy walking my dogs.  They are not people lovers but they don’t want to attack them either.  I have one that tolerates the occasional petting from strangers and the other just barks.  They are a lot like me.   They are small dogs with a total combined weight of 14 pounds, like most small dogs, they have the heart and soul of a German Shepherd.   Most important, they like to hike with me.  I don’t’ see a lot of small dogs on the trails because people are afraid to bring them.  Where I live small animals are a meal but my little nuggets stay on leash.
